Overflow Whiteboards

Overflow Whiteboards includes a full React-powered image editor inside the game, players draw freehand, add shapes, insert text layers, and apply filters without leaving the FiveM session. Finished images export as high-quality PNG and are placed directly into the game world. Local file upload and URL import are both supported.

The FiveM poster placement uses 3D ray-casting to detect the exact surface under the crosshair, walls, pillars, fences, and flat surfaces all register correctly. A 2-point selection flow lets players define the poster's width and height before confirming placement, so posters fit the target surface precisely every time.

Overflow Whiteboards auto-detects your FiveM framework and hooks into whichever inventory system you run: ox_inventory, qb-inventory, qs-inventory, codem-inventory, or origen_inventory. Framework detection happens at resource start, no config variable to set. The placement and removal items register correctly with your existing inventory setup.

Overflow Whiteboards supports two storage modes: local HTTP delivery via Nucleus for servers that prefer self-hosted assets, and cloud storage for CDN-based delivery. The script handles image processing, format conversion, and persistence automatically, placed posters survive server restarts and remain visible to all players within render distance.

Access to the FiveM whiteboard system is controlled by inventory items, a placement item to create posters and a separate removal item to clean them up. Server owners control who receives these items through existing job or permission systems, giving full admin control over who can place content in the world. Works with all five supported inventory systems.
